Paxil 20 mg tablet (PAXIL 2 0 pink oval tablets) is a medication that is used to treat PD (Panic disorder), MDD (Major depressive disorder), GAD (Generalized anxiety disorder), SAD (Social anxiety disorder), PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder), OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder), and PMDD (Premenstrual dysphoric disorder). This medicine is used as an off-label medicine to treat Postpartum depression, Social phobia in children, Separation anxiety, Body dysmorphic disorder, and Irritable bowel syndrome. Paxil 20 mg is the brand name for Paroxetine.
Take the dosages of Paxil tablet 20 mg as your doctor’s prescription. Do not change the dosage because it may lead to an overdose that may cause symptoms like aggressive behavior, sweating, confusion, fast or irregular heartbeat, drowsiness, fever, nausea, vomiting, coma, seizures, diarrhea, severe muscle stiffness, or twitching, dark red or brown urine, and abnormally excited mood.
Do not use other medication without asking the doctor, taking other medication will reduce the efficacy of Paxil tablets 20 mg or may harm you in other ways. The side effects of Paxil 20mg may include symptoms like swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, feet, ankles, or lower legs, difficulty breathing, seizures, agitation, unsteady walking or uncontrollable shaking of the body part, bloody vomit, bone pain or fracture, fever or sweating, confusion or hallucinations, severe muscle stiffness or twitching, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, abnormal bleeding or bruising, tiny red spots directly under the skin, hoarseness, etc.
