Dogs can eat white boiled rice. It is good for their bones, nerves, and muscles. Feeding a puppy or pup with white-boiled rice could be more beneficial for their growth.
Boiled white rice can be beneficial and safe for dogs because of these nutrition and health benefits:

  • It is low in sodium and fat.
  • It contains antioxidants.
  • It feeds good bacteria that keep the dog’s intestine healthy.
  • White rice or white boiled rice is a rich source of fiber, calcium, vitamin D, etc.

3) Peanut Butter-

Peanut butter is a healthy food for humans. Dogs can eat peanut butter as well, if eaten in a limited amount it can be a good treat and is safe.
However, peanut butter is rich in fat and calories. This can lead to weight gain if eaten in too much quantity. So, you must limit the amount of peanut butter that you feed to your pet.
Also, make sure to feed plain and unsalted peanut butter to your dog.

4) Eggs-

Eggs are the best source of nutrition for humans as well as for dogs. Cooked eggs are safe for dogs. One medium-sized egg provides enough amount of vitamin and protein.
Because eggs are not a natural source of nutrition, so you should avoid feeding your dog with raw eggs. Eating an un-cooked egg or raw egg can increase the risk of infection in dogs that can be viral and can spread from dogs to humans.

5) Bread and Biscuits-

Bread and biscuits are safe to eat for dogs, but only if eaten in limited amounts or occasionally. Breads made from plain and white grain are safe for most breeds of dogs.
You may have the question, ‘Why most, why not for all?’. Here, the answer is eating bread in a lot of quantity or eating it with other foods, can add extra calories to your dog’s food that can cause weight gain if it overeats bread and daily.
Also, although biscuits are safe for dogs, however, biscuits are made with raw-processed sugar that may cause problems such as itching, hair fall, etc. So, you must be cautious when feeding your pet with these foods.

6) Salt –

You should limit salt in your dog’s diet. Either taking salt directly or eating salty food. Excessive salt can cause salt poisoning or water deprivation in dogs. It’s a similar condition that occurs in the human body, when we eat too much salty food, we feel dehydrated the whole day than a normal day.
Salt can cause these health problems in your dog’s body:

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting and seizures

In such severe cases, a high amount of salt can be fatal.

To prevent these health issues, you should not feed your dog salty food.
Always make sure your dog has enough amount of water. Drinking water can prevent the risk of various health problems such as water deprivation or dehydration.
