Strattera’s starting dosage for children is 0.5mg daily with an increased dose after 3 days. Adults start with 40 mg per day, after 2 or 3 weeks the dose is increased up to 80 mg. It can be taken with or without food. Strattera is usually taken 2 times a day, in the morning or evening.

For patients aged 6 years, Ritalin dosage starts with 5 mg daily before taking a meal. It is given to children twice a day and for adults, the average dosage is 20 to 30 mg, 2-3 times daily before eating breakfast or lunch. A 60 mg is not recommended.
